The Harmful Effects of Smoking Are Too Many to List!

Someone who tells you that you can name all the harmful effects of smoking in a few simple sentences probably has not kept pace with all the latest research and scientific data currently available. It seems that every time some government institution or laboratory science makes some kind of study on this issue, there is still another dozen items to be added to the list of harmful effects of smoking.

Of course, many people know of lung cancer and easily equate that with the smoking habit. But you know that infertility in men and women is considered yet another side effect of smoking? In men, smoking chokes out oxygen that keeps sperm healthy and active. Having “slow” or “lazy” is a common cause sperm of a man of infertility, and the sperm is just not healthy enough to make that long journey to the egg of a woman! In women, smoking can interfere with its process of ovulation, maintain healthy blood flow to her fallopian tubes. Not be able to deliver a healthy egg each month is a major cause of infertility of a woman - and yet many women do not know that this has decreased ability to conceive a child is a common side effect of smoking!

When it comes to cancer, the lungs are just one area of the body affected. Many smokers contract cancer of the mouth and throat and, of course, as any part of the body that comes into close contact with these cigarettes is to be more prone to cancer cells.

Since the tar and nicotine content of cigarettes is absorbed in the blood, the body and blood of travel for each cell, there is the possibility for the cancer cells to develop into virtually any area of the body. Breast cancer, cervical cancer, cancer of the liver and kidney cancer are also thought to be more side effects of smoking. In fact, many doctors and researchers are practically any tie cancer in pollution that smoking may pose to the body!

And, of course, the effects of smoking on the body of the respiratory system are also too many to list here. The lungs to absorb the toxic smoke of cigarettes, but have no way to filter all their poisons. Every part of the respiratory system, from bronchial lung sacs themselves, and are concerned with every cigarette damaged.
